I’m Michael, founder of MJ Tutors and a specialist tutor for GCSE & A-Level Maths and Physics.

Over the past number of years, I’ve worked with countless students across Northern Ireland and beyond helping them improve not only their grades, but also their confidence, understanding and approach to exams. Many students I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or convinced they’re “just not good enough”. More often than not the issue isn’t ability, it’s a lack of confidence that can usually be fixed with clear explanation, structure and exam-focused guidance.

Good tuition isn’t about getting through homework or memorising methods. It’s about helping students understand why something works, how to apply it under pressure and how to approach exams with confidence. That's where I come in.

I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics and specialise in breaking difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps that actually make sense to students.
